Value operations Methodology

Value Operations Methodology is a decision support tool to measure interrelated factors.

These theories define Value as the ‘degree’ to which a decision maker’s objectives are fulfilled when evaluating certain existing alternatives. The higher an alternative scores on all objectives (properly weighed), the more preferred it is and the best-scoring alternative is selected. This scoring is done by developing a Value function, which relates the different ‘levels’ of achievement of objectives to a Value number.
