The aim of the project was to develop a novel, innovative tool to improve the safety of inland navigation and more efficient route planning and routing of ships. In particular, the system increases the safety of small and medium-sized ships by providing the ship's driver with information about the ship's environment and alerting them in time. 

The efficiency of shipping is also enhanced by analysing data from different sensors to calculate the ideal momentary route and performance for the ship's driver. The project was supported the by the Hungarian Szechenyi Plan (, project number GINOP-2.1.7-15-2016-00826.
